Is Al Mehdi Falahi Trust a registered organisation?
+
Yes. We are an officially registered welfare trust based in Kondus, District Ghanche, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Our registration number is ACM R 01 2021.
How is my donation used?
+
Every donation goes directly into one of our four programs: Education, Welfare Services, Disaster Response, or Community Development. We do not have any paid staff overheads. Volunteers run the trust, so almost every rupee reaches the people we serve.
Can I get a receipt for my donation?
+
Yes. Every donor receives a formal receipt and an annual impact report. If you donate via bank transfer, please email us a copy of the transaction so we can issue a receipt.
Where exactly do you work?
+
We are based in Kondus village, in Tehsil Khaplu, District Ghanche, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Our programs serve Kondus and the surrounding villages of the valley.
How can I sponsor a specific student?
+
Yes. Through our Patron and Benefactor membership tiers, you can sponsor one or more students directly. Please contact us and we will match you with a student.
Do you accept volunteers from outside Pakistan?
+
Absolutely. Many of our supporters are part of the Pakistani diaspora. There are many ways to help remotely — see the Volunteer page for details.
How can I verify your work?
+
We publish an annual impact report and welcome visitors to Kondus. If you would like to visit any of our projects, please contact us in advance and we will arrange it.
Who founded the trust?
+
The trust was founded by a group of community members from Kondus who wanted to give back to their valley. It is governed by a board of trustees elected from within the community.
